Traveling to Ambri is very easy and can be done for less than £120 return from the UK.

By Car:
Travel time from Calais in France is about 8.5hr's and will cost around £80 in tolls (return) best option for camping and to avoid the baggage allowance issues.

By Plane:
Zurich is the closest airport at about 1hr from Ambri, cheapest airline from the UK seems to be Easyjet from Luton. You can rent a car or use the train straight to Ambri.

By Train:
Eurotunnel trains offer fares from London to Zurich, quoting about 8hrs travel time and workout around the same cost as flying, but once again baggage allowance is down to how much you can carry. You can even catch the local train into Ambri itself.
